December Daily: Time to Get Those Digitals Organized

Updated: 2 days ago

Text reads "Organizing December Daily Digitals with Kelly Sill" with colorful tree graphics. Festive holiday theme, white background.

If you’ve participated in December Daily® before, you know how quickly those digital files can pile up! Between kits, freebies, and your own creative extras, it’s easy to lose track of what you have — and where you saved it.

Last year, I shared a video walking through how I organize my December Daily Digitals on both my iPad and Mac Desktop — and it was recorded almost one year to the day! I thought it would be the perfect time to revisit that video and give everyone a friendly reminder to tidy things up before the season begins.

Whether you’re brand new to December Daily or a seasoned participant, taking an hour or two now to sort your digital stash will make your December storytelling so much easier (and way more fun!).

Watch the video below to see how I organize my December Daily Digitals.

To make the process even easier, I’ve included a free downloadable PDF of my Digital Folder Organization System — the same structure I use year after year to keep everything neat and accessible. You can grab it right below!

A Little Bonus Reminder

If you haven’t already, the Affinity Apps are still available in the App Store — and they’re currently free to download! This is the perfect time to grab Affinity Photo for iPad and get comfortable with it before the December Daily season begins. I know some people are confused when they go to download the apps and they see it is only a free 7-day trial, but it you tap the "Buy Now" button, you can purchase it for $0. Here is a link to an Apple Insider with a little more information: All Affinity Apps Are Now Free For The iPad

I’m thrilled to share that I’m one of the contributors in Ali Edwards’ Side-by-Side Product Play Class this year! My lesson uses the digital version of the Scalloped Oval Die Cuts, and it’s a great way to get a gentle introduction to working in Affinity Photo for iPad. If you’ve been curious about the app, my lesson will be a fun and inspiring place to start.

I hope this little refresh inspires you to carve out a bit of time to get organized before the December Daily magic begins. If you use my folder system, I’d love to see your setup — tag me on Instagram @pixelstopages so I can cheer you on as you get ready for another season of memory keeping!
