December Daily 2025 | Table of Contents Process Video

Today I’m the first spread in my 2025 December Daily Album — the Table of Contents! I added this page for the first time last year, and I immediately knew it was something I wanted to bring back. As each day passes and each story gets documented, this page becomes such a satisfying snapshot of the season. It's such a fun page to look back on because you can see the entire month at a glance.
You’ll notice I’m making a small change this year. I’ve decided not to include a “My Reason Why” page. My reason honestly stays the same from year to year, and I didn’t want to set any expectations for how the month should feel. Instead, I’m choosing to wrap up the album with a gratitude-style reflection — kind of a “Thank You, Christmas” moment — inspired by something Ali did last year that really resonated with me. I actually did include it in my album last year. It was more of a "Thank You Christmas" Day kind of page. You can see it here in this post. This year I will write more of a reflection post of the entire season. Anyways...
In today’s video, I’ll walk you through how I put this spread together using Affinity Publisher for iPad — from choosing that "Holiday Scene" filler card that I tried to use on the cover of my album, to setting up the ledger page where my stories will be added throughout December–I hope you find some inspiration for your own ToC!
